This project is a community collaboration led by Crane House to collect the stories and artifacts of Vietnam War Veterans and Vietnamese-Americans in Louisville, Kentucky. Our work will be exhibited in 2012.
Started in 2008, this community project has grown into an oral history project to record and preserve the stories of Vietnam War veterans and the local Vietnamese community in Louisville, Kentucky. From the stories, photographs, and artifacts, we have uncovered untold tragic stories of war and also success stories of Vietnamese-Americans who attribute their accomplishments to those who fought valiently in the War.
